With the arrival of Ramza's two chocobos- Boco and Persephone, a yellow and red chocobo respectively- into Saeng Seong, it seems that some more chocobos may be on the way... now, it's just a matter of finding people to take care of them all.
Ramza's chocobos will yield a new clutch of two to four eggs roughly every two months. At this point, Ramza will make an announcement seeking people to raise the offspring, and will draw lots to determine which interested parties will receive them. (Limit one per, of course... these things are a handful!) After a duration at the recipient mun's discretion, an egg will hatch into an adorable baby chocobo.

A chickobo, if you will.
The juvenile chocobo of course requires plenty of care, food, and attention. But, with its growth bolstered by its owners' affection and the forces that be within Saeng Seong, after a little over a month- once more at the mun's discretion- the bird will be fully mature, and ready for use as a riding animal, a beast of burden, or whatever its owner would wish of it.

Rest assured, it's far tougher than it looks!
Additionally, Ivalician Chocobos come in three distinct flavors, with Boco and Persephone's clutches often being some combination of the three. The specific breed of chocobo that hatches can be left up to random determination or the mun's preference:
Yellow Chocobos Are the most common variety, as well as the variety that's most easily domesticated... though you wouldn't get that impression facing one in the wild. Yellow chocobos tend towards calmer dispositions, socialize very easily if reared by hand, and have strength and staying power comparable to any other beast of burden, making them ideal as a mount, draft beast, or companion. In addition to using its sharp beak and strong legs to attack, it possesses a unique healing ability, and can mend the wounds of its friend or master with a flap of glimmering magic from its wings.
Black Chocobos Are less common and markedly less hardy than their yellow cousins. While their lower stamina leaves them ill-suited for use as work animals, they are the only extant breed of chocobo capable of flight- even with a rider upon their backs! And though they can only fly short distances and at relatively low altitudes, they're still highly coveted as mounts. They're not often raised for combat due to said lack of endurance, but they seem to be able to ward off poison, sickness, and curses on a whim, and those who have faced them in the wild have sworn that they could throw magical fireballs...
Red Chocobos Are the least common variety of chocobo, and that may not be entirely for ill. They possess significantly more stamina than the other breeds and would be highly prized as ground mounts... were they not so highly independent and more than a little bit stubborn. And while a trained red chocobo is still fiercely loyal to and defensive of its master, said master can only hope to earn its respect rather than teach it obedience. But when that respect is gained the red chocobo is a strong worker and a powerful ally, Not only throwing fireballs but- strangely- calling down small meteorites onto its foes.

Q. What if I play more than one character? Can I have all of them try to get a Chocobo?
A. For now, I'll say post with whatever characters you wish, but drawing will be done based on player- and not muse- count, and a winning mun with multiple characters will get to pick (or randomly select) which one of theirs gets it.
Q. What are Boco and Persephone like and what are the limits on what I can do with them?
A. Boco's like a big, gentle St. Bernard and Persephone's more like an all-too-proud Shiba Inu. Just don't breed 'em, and make sure to bring them back in one piece. Other than that, it's fair game.
